29 January 2009 Can i treat I - Phone as a computer device and put it in the block of computer to charge higher rate of depreciation on it...

29 January 2009 No, I-Phone is different then a computer, can not be treated as such.

29 January 2009 Thanks 4 ur views... But when i can consider laptops and palmtops as computer devices why can't i treat i-phone as the same... As because it fulfills all the purpose that of a computer... Please explain a bit...

30 January 2009 The thing is related to basic use of the machine. You can use a computer to connect a call but by this characteristic you can not say that it is a phone.
likewise I-phone can do many operations as a computer but still it can't be a computer.
