20 July 2011 If you are Hindu you are born in 2 status one is individual and the other is of HUP. You can file return of income in individual capacity till you are married. On marriage you can have a HUF status and for that you should ask your father to give a gift of any amount for your HUF and do business with that money and file your income tax return.

Apply for PAN Card in the name of your HUF before that you open a bank account with any bank in the status of HUF so that you can attach any document as required for Pan Card.
