Me & my husband is working with same company. Can we both claim HRA for 2 different houses like he claim for 1 house where we are staying and I claim for another house where my relative is staying as they are not claiming income tax exemption.

Also I m keeping my maternal surname in PAN card and also in my professional life.

Kindly clarify this query..

08 February 2011 My name is not included in my husband's pan card or passport..

My pan card is separate and we are working as separate employee..

Is there any other way to claim HRA?? Can we share HRA paid?

In my opinion just for claiming HRA, you should not hide your marital status as both of you are working in the same company.

In the coming years, or may be in current return, you must have to be united, when question of deduction of Tuition Fee will arise.
