What is HRA exemption limit for AY 2014-15.
If any employee is living rental in chawl and having rental receipt without society reg.No. can he get exemption of HRA?

HRA exemption u/s.10(13A) least of the following
a.40% salary if non metro (50% for metros)
b. Rent paid less 10% of basic salary
c. Actual HRA
for claiming HRA rental receipts in original is enough
