19 July 2018 sir, One of my client having income from salary but he did not submitted Rent payment receipt to his employer so he did not claim his HRA in form 16, so his total income is 5,30,000 (net total income) his salary u/s 17(1) is 7,80,000 which contains (Basic, DA, HRA, LTA, CA). Pleas let me know can i claim my HRA? which has not shown in my form 16 by my employer?

pleas let me know how to calculate HRA

19 July 2018 take your actual exemption as per HRA exemption calculation. even if there mismatch as per IT you have actual record to show.

19 July 2018 sir, can i claim HRA if there is no specification by the employer regarding salary breakup as (basic, hra, ta, other allowance)
how can i calculate HRA exemption to be claimed as the basic is not known?

19 July 2018 You can claim HRA only if your employer is paying it, other wise claim rent paid under 80GG

19 July 2018 am paying rent of Rs 14000 per month can i claim 80GG deduction?
is there any difficulty as TDS/TCS attracts?
