How to revised nil tds return

03 May 2013 HI FRIENDS,
I FILED THE NIL TDS RETURN. NOW I WANT TO REVISED SUCH RETURN. HOW I CAN DO SO??????????
& CONS. FILE IS NOT AVAILABLE ON TDS CPC.

04 May 2013 Yes, NIL TDS return can be revised by filing correction statement and the procedure is same as for other returns.

You need to download consolidated file from TDS CPC and from that correction statement can be prepared. There was some delay in processing of returns by TDS departement as data from NSDL was trasnfered to Income Tax (own server). Once status of your original tds return is 'Processed', you can download the consolidated file.

My conversation on phone with tds cpc customare care.he said no consolidated file will be available of nil tds return.
