How to open a current account in name of business into bank

05 April 2014 Dear Sir,

I want to open a c/a in name of proprietorship business but bank asking registration of the business in sale tax or service tax or other in any other government authority.

I think these authorities also would required bank detail to provide the registration.

So, I want to know, is there any way to open the account without having above registration?

05 April 2014 You can obtain shop and estabilishment license and subit to the bank.

Further you can provide a chartered accountant certificate and a declaration to the bank saying that once the bank account is opened, you will do necessary registrations and submit the certificates for bank's records

05 April 2014 Dear Kedar Ji,
Thank you for the response.
I applied online for the shop and establishment license 15 day ago and deposited the fee into SBI through the challan and send the hard copy of the application along with the receipt of the challan to the given address but status of the application still showing pending while I check the status of the application.
There is no phone number or email id given to contact them.
