How to issue service tax certificate ?

25 November 2014 I have a query regarding service tax, Actually I have 15 transporters on which I didn't tds as they quote their PAN No but we deduct service tax on all of them & deposit to Govt. One of the transporter has asked us the prove of service tax deposition at my end for Fy 12-13, If I provde him TDS certificate for all four quarters, will it be ok to make him satisfied. Or is there any other certificate of service tax because I am not fully aware with service tax.

26 November 2014 There is no certificate for remittance of Service Tax. The liability to pay service tax of GTA Service is on Service Receiver and Service receiver is not liable to provide any proof of remittance to the service provider.

26 November 2014 you have to pay service tax under reverse tax mechanism. service tax not to deduct from the transporter .
you have to deposit the tax if you have excise number then you get claim of service tax deposit on inwards freight only. otherwise you have to claim the exp.
