How to get tds credit not reflecting in 26as

26 September 2017 Hi, I was working with a company which deducted and deposited TDS in FY 2009-10. I couldn't get form 16. Now the company is closed. I could trace the challan for deposit of TDS by the company. Now, since the TDS is not appearing in my account, department has served notice for payment of tax with interest. I have submitted the copy of challan along with proof that I was employee of thay company. However, the IT department is not responding to these submission and keeping the demand open. Please suggest how to resolve this.

26 September 2017 If you not get form 16...!! You ll download the Form 26AS in traces portal and check it your tax credit and give the reply based on 26AS.... You can get just relief based on 26AS....

27 September 2017 It's not reflecting in 26AS but the challan shows that tax is deposited and PAN is also correctly mentioned.

29 September 2017 In income tax login, raise a grievance request..

Resolution sought from => CPC TDS
Grievance category => 26AS related
Grievance sub category => Entry not reflecting in 26AS

Explain your issue with the challan details. It will be solved

15 October 2017 Thanks CS K Srinivas.this is really helpful. I raised the ticket on e nivaran as per your reply. Though It didn't resolve but got the response to write to concerned ao who will check with TAN ao. On this basis, I have written now to my AO.and hoping to get resolution.
