How to get duplicate ITR acknowledgment? Urgent

one of my client misplaced his last 2years ITR acknowledgments and is there any chance getting duplicate acknowledgment? If so what is the procedures pls guide

11 November 2010 Log in at income tax website with your PAN and password you can download it from the website but only if you have filed online return. In case of manual return you will have to write a letter to your AO requesting him to provide you a copy of the acknowledgment.

12 November 2010 I second the opinion laid down by Mr. Gupta. A letter addressing to the jurisdictional ITO is required to be submitted.
