25 December 2011 I want to know the procedure of Online INCOME TAX Filling.

25 December 2011 First, get the assessee registered on www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in by providing required details.
You will get a confirmation mail in the email ID mentioned therein that you are registered.
Next, fill the applicable ITR and generate XML file.
Next, Log-in on www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in by providing User-ID and password.
Upload your XML file over there.
You are done. Print ITR-V (Acknowledgement), sign it and post it to the address given therein.

If the assessee is not a Company, firm or tax audit assessee, then digital sign is not required.
