08 October 2008 what is the way to find out by ourselves whether investment made by client in mutual funds are equity oriented or debt oriented?

08 October 2008 If fund consists 65% or more in equity investment then it is Equity oriented fund otherwise Debt oriented.

08 October 2008 Go in concerened fund agency web site and try to bring out the prospectus of related fund.

09 October 2008 as mr.jitendra said, you need to look for the investment portfolio - the scrips / papers in which the investment is being made by the fund
