18 May 2015 dear all, I need ur expert opinion plz help me out My friend receive intimation u/s 143(1) in respect of Ay 2012-13 &2013-14 regarding tax payable around 150000 total of both AYs.as earlier he hire an agent for filing his return but he filed wrong return, he disclose wrong income under wrong heads n disclose tax liability n to file return he fill fake challan details and upload return.the return was filed but he get notice. and in actual he was a salaried employ n salary below slab in both year n the agent disclose over their business income of Rs10,00,000. the notice u/s 143(1) receive from cpc. I call them and they told me to talk with concern A.O. & in deptt. I meet with inspector, he told me that we didn't sent u notice so how I can handle ur case or allow u to rectify ur returns. please give ur precious suggestions I am really helpless and the efforts which I can make I already made...so, please advice.

19 May 2015 in this case rectification wont work as their is no mistake apparent from records in the 143(1) intimation.
