20 February 2012 If Housing loan taken as jointly (Husband/Wife) & both or Govt. Employee then how much amount they have claimed. ?
(Is it one can claim 100% or 50-50%)
If one can claimed 100% then any decleration is required from another?
or both are 50-50 taken exemption, then under which section?

plz, advice me?? its urgent?

22 February 2012 Housing loan taken as Jointly (Husband-Wife)both r Govt. Employee, but Wife given her decleration to claim 100% Exemption under 80C & 24B. & She has also given her Husbands Decleration copy to clarify the above tings towards he is not claiming any exemption for that Joint House Loan.
can it is possible, when we get decleration for this exemption purpose & make necessary tax treatment?

It means only one can claimd 100% exemption & second is given his decleration to Nil Benefit to me.

22 February 2012 No such provision, when the ownership and loan in joint name same will be proportionate only.
