17 August 2017 Hi, Please help i have applied to Bank Of India for Housing loan,Though i have all documents but my Income Tax Return of Asst. Year - 17-18(Not in Audit), is revised.Now the bank is asking for CA certificate against Reason for Making Revised Return.
But my CA is not giving such certificate and making me explain, they can not give any certification for revised return. ..Please help me so that i can explain my CA or Bank

17 August 2017 If you are not liable for audit, then you can get this certificate from any CA by showing your both ITR Forms (Original & Revised).
By the way you haven't mentioned the reason for revision of return. If reason is justifiable, then any CA can give Certificate.

17 August 2017 I agree with the above reply. But, your CA is obliged to give you the certificate and his refusal is a misconduct.

17 August 2017 I respectfully disagree with the above observations. Income tax return filing and revising it is the absolute responsibility of the assessee especially in a non audit case. A chartered accountant can , therefore, rightly refuse to give a certificate vouching the veracity of the revision of income tax return and if he does so it will not become a professional misconduct.
