07 March 2011 Hello i have a question about house rent allowance ...

1. Is HRA provision abolished or withdraw by ITD or not.

2. If not withdrawn, then What are the requirements for availing HRA etc.

07 March 2011 1. HRA is still in statute.
2. Pl go through section 10(13A)of Income tax Act,1961 and rule 2A of Income tax Rules,1962 in www.incometaxindia.gov.in

But again i have a question in my mind .. Is HRA provision is different for Trust's & Colleges or not ..
