Like christmas,diwali,holi,etc all are allowed ? And suppose i took leave for 2 months for exam prep than whether sundays falling in between that month are counted as holidays? They will be excluded while calculating xcess leave.?

Whether it is sundays or any other holidays comes during your period of leave is considered as leave.
holidays during your working period is considered as period actually worked in office
holidays during your working period is considered as period actually worked in office
