Hire charges is paid to an individual for hiring lorry by a construction company which is already paying service tax. Is service tax is applicable for hire charges also? Please reply

Yes service tax is applicable on hire charges.
If I am not wrong then there is some notification for abatement in this respect. But if abatement is claimed, then service tax credit cannot be claimed.
