I am a CA and was working as a paid assisstant under a senior CA. Now when i am resigning my CA is not allowing me to resign. Further, when I sent my resignation letter to ICAI, a letter was received stating that your employer confirmation is necessary. Please suggest what I should do now.

Hi,
I think you should have a chat with your employer in friendly manner and try to convince him about your requirement to leave.
See no one can stop you from leaving. Try to avoid any dispute with your employer. I hope everything settled in friendly manner.
