22 December 2011 when a new industry is set up & vat chared on capital goods then will we get input vat credit for that if we havent got registered under vat law till then.

please advice as per haryana vat.

23 December 2011 Any vat paid on purchase prior than date of registration is not eligible as input vat.

23 December 2011 Dear Mr. Pratik,

I am afraid to object as said by Mr. Hitender, as Govt will ask for VAT even for the Sale made prior to such registeration.

Similarly they should have to allow such expenditure of vat as input credit.
