05 September 2013 GTA service is now under reverse charge. Hence the freight amount of above Rs.750/- on a single consignment, will be taken for arriving the taxable turnover. 75% is abatement. And 25% is payable by the person pays the freight and books in his accounts.

There are exemptions for GTA. Kindly go thro the relevant notn.

But GTA pay by a service tax receiver in last 7-8 years.
