gst registration for exempt goods but sales interstate

23 December 2016 Haryana dealer sells goods in Gujarat and up and turnover 13 lakh yearly but goods are exempt under vat (item is lable) and my question is we require to register under gst or not. please guide on this.

24 December 2016 LIMIT FOR GST Registration is Rs 20 lakhs. Since you have turn over of Rs. 13 lakhs, registration is not required. Any way fresh registration process is not started yet.

25 December 2016 You have to register for the reason that you have a supplies in the course of inter-state trade an commerce; so far exemption from VAT is concerned, it is not necessary that the product will be exempted under GST also. enroll yourself and if afterwards you find your your product or supply of your product exempted then surrender the registration

29 December 2016 In case of interstate transaction or sale , registration is nessesary irrespective of volume of sale. Therefore in your case you need to take registration
