Dear Exparts,
where is mentioned in GST act that GST rate will be 50 50 % in CGST and SGST at the time intra state sale.

In case of inter state sale it is IGST at 100%.

The actual tax collection (before compensation) will be on a 50-50 basis between the centre and the states. “If, after the distribution, the states’ share falls short of what was being forecast, the centre will pay them compensation to plug the gap.
