sir one of my client have sales tax reg. I need to surrender this reg before this March so can I need to entrol GST portal now ?

No need of surrender contact sales tax dept and obtain provisional id and password and register in the link given.

They can register in GST afresh when they start business.

now they need to register provisional in GST ? BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO NEED FOR VAT REG BUT STILL CONTINUING WITH NIL RETURN. BUT IN GST REG PROCESS THEY NEED TO TAKE DSC SO THEY WILL BE MEET SOME EXPENDITURE. SO I ASK U SIR CAN THEY NEED TO MIGRATE TO GST ?
