GPA FOR PURCHASE OF PLOT

This query is : Resolved

Quick Summary
It is indeed legal to purchase a plot of land from someone holding a General Power of Attorney (GPA), even if they are not a blood relation. Generally, no additional taxes are payable if the stamp duty and sale deed values align. If you are purchasing based on the agreement value and paying stamp duty accordingly, you should not incur further taxes.
