how to calculate goodwill for leverage firm & its impact

Calculating the GOODWILL has always been a matter of judgement. That EXTRA money/profit/rate etc which a leveraged firm is able to generate in comparison to its arm's length competitors determines the basis for GOODWILL.
The time value of this EXTRA money shall always be considered while calculating the GOODWILL.
