I WANTS TO KNOW THAT GMCS OF 15DAYS IS EQUIVALENT TO 6WEEEK RESI. PROG. IN TERMS OF PLACEMENT,JOB OPPORTUNITIES,KNOWLEDGE LEVEL AND MORE PACKAGES OR NOT.

6weeks residential programme is more superior to GMCS as it has seperate placement opportunities and it is more useful than G.M.C.S.
wheras GMCS is only a 15 days course which is compulsory and it's quality depends upon the faculty and centre .
Residential programme has faculties from IIM's and other reputed institutes .
The only negative thing in 6weeks residential programme is , it is costlier as compared to G.M.C.S .U can confirm the details from the website .

actually i got reg. in feb.2011 gmcs batch but due to negative result in ca final ,i have to give may attempt and i also wants to leave gmcs and wants refund of my fees . but after so many mails and application to icai ,still nothing is working.noboby is even picking calls in gmcs deptt.

If u have not attended any of the days of GMCS batch, then u can shift your batch to some other date . But if u do not want to attend the G.M.C.S , and instead go for Six weeks res Prog . , then u will have to personally go to Institute and discuss this with the G.M.C.S Department . U can not get a prompt reply through mails or telephone . U will have to personally go there ..
