Gmcs period extension

i was registered on 18th, October, 2013 for articleship training, what is the last date for completion of GMCS-1. As far as i have heard 1 year period has been increased to 1.5 year, is it correct???

there is no such exetnsion till now notified by icai, its only 1 year
