02 May 2014 while you visit ICAI website...please note as on today there are no penalties announced by ICAI for non-completion of gmcs-I by the end of first year of articleship. it is primarily because ICAI itself faces crunch on availability of batches. However, certain students have faced problem regarding registration for GMCS-I after first year as regional centers refused to accept their registration.

Therefore, I would suggest that you should apply at the earliest.

02 May 2014 But I faced difficulties for registration of GMCS1 because of non availability of batches. What can I do...?

02 May 2014 In that case u must manually register urself. Visit ICAI Bhawan. There u have to fill up a form and have to submit a DD for GMCS.
