assessee has given laptops and gold coins as gifts to dealers who has crossed desired targets of sales. departments has disallowed it on the contention that it is personal in nature.
please share your khowledge on above matter with related case law.

If the gift scheme was declared prior, and whoever acheived the limit, got the gift, it cannot be personnel nature.

it is sales promotion and not gift. ito is wrong in disallowing.
