HUF can give gift out of its INCOME. But gift out of its capital property is not permitted.

Huf can digest the gifts but cant give..

Some how that is GENERAL misunderstanding about HUF.
HUF can very well give GIFT out of its income. (But not out of its capital property)
HUF giving gift to Prime Ministers Fund and claiming deduction u/s 80G can be looked upon as good instance of gift by HUF out of its income.
