30 March 2011 hello sir, i heared that getting selected for a job in icai capus placement ins difficult and percentage people get selected is also in most of the branches.can u plsssssssssssssssssssssss tell me whether it is correct?????????????????

31 March 2011 There r some criteria based upon which companies recruit candidates. Last campus intrvw held by icai in feb- march 2011 out of nearly 5200 qualifid membrs attnd campus 1800 got recruitd as of now. So with atleast 40% success rate. For others off campus also gud numbr of opprtunities avlbl.
Avg salary was around 7lacs p.a in campus.

first of all i would request u not to panic. u have become a CA man! u r the best finance professional that India has on offer. as far as campus placements r concerned, there is a 40-45% success rate which is steadily increasing every year. also the avg. salary offered is increasing with every passing year. just b yourself, and u should do fine.
