11 June 2014 i have received a notice from cpc bangalore that your return was not accepted and it has been transferred to jurisdictional A.O.

i had filled my return u/s 139 and have hardly any income as 1 lakh as bank interest and 50000 as other souces.

why has it been transferred and what do i have to do??

has it gone into scruitiny??
do i have to contact A.o ??

plzzz help in worry.

11 June 2014 just meet the jurisdictional ao and resolve the issue not much to be tensed for in this case and take a copy of letter asking u to do this.

12 June 2014 i have asked my ca who had filled this return he says to just forget and ignore this message??

what to do sir igore or meet ao what if i dont meet??

12 June 2014 It is not advisable to ignore msgs from the Income Tax Office. You should meet the AO, taking the copy of the letter and get a clearance. In case you dont go to meet the AO, you become a defaulter as per the ITax Act and you may have some penalties uncessarily which will keep on adding interesr till you sort out the issue.
It will also become a problem in case you want to apply anywhere abroad or study abroad as you would need Police clearance for that which comes only if you are clean under all the laws.

but shold i meet in person having no knowleddge of income tax or ask my CA to meet him and pay him fees for his service??

12 June 2014 u can first try to meet the AO and find out what the issue is. Then you can take the help of a CA.
