can someone guide me regarding amount payable to shareholders towards Fraction Coupon for more than 7 years needs to be transferred to Investors Protection Fund A/c or company can retain the same in books....

No, company cannot retain the amount. it has to deposit the balance after 7 years in investor protection fund.
