23 November 2013 Hi Friends,

I want to form a NBFC (Category B Only). Can anyone please guide me that how long it takes to get the approval from RBI. How much is the cost involved (Other than Rs 2 crore as NWF).

I have heard from some friends that as of now, RBI is not permitting formation of new NBFC but their no such guideline on website of RBI. Please guide me.

i dont think there is any bar on new NBFC officially. there would be some consultant fees which may vary from consultant to consultant.
