18 August 2013 Hi,
I filled FORM 1A and given my ICAI membership number in specific column provided for . I clicked pre-scrutiny button , its shown "no error". While uploading the same it shows "Prescrutiny error - membership number invalid". Experts Please guide me to rectify this error. My M.No.228786 and its correctly got filled

18 August 2013 Agree with Expert.

In addition, you also check whether your CA signature is regitered with MCA portal or not and whether his signature is valid or expired.

19 August 2013 I have already registered my signature with MCA portal and I was using that without any problem also.... Its a valid signature only I checked it with my DSC certifying authority.... I tried of uploading a new form 1A again but I got same problem...I tried to re register myself with MCA portal and for that it asks membership number.. but there also it gives a pop up saying "membership no invalid"... please guide me to short out this issue.

19 August 2013 Are you sure you have provided correct membership number..

1)verify once again that you have provided correct membership number not the firm registration number

2)ensure you have provided membership number correctly..i mean to say if membership number is 12345 it should be provided exactly...following interpretation should be avoided like---"012345"

Still unable to resolve..please mail the screenshot of error to mca help desk and register the complaint they will let you now the solutions for the same and i request you to share the same here how you resolved your issue

27 August 2013 I have filed a compliant to ROC via a mail and also through MCA portal and after two days it got rectified and I filed the FORM 1A. THANKS TO ALL EXPERTS WHO SUGGESTED SOLUTIONS.
