28 July 2011 IS FORM 16 NOT ISSUED IF THE TDS WAS NOT DEDUCTED FROM SALARY. MY PREVIOUS EMPLOYER SAYS SINCE TDS WAS NOT DEDUCTED FROM YOUR SALARY FORM 16 WOULD NOT BE ISSUED, PLS CLARIFY? CAN I GET THE FORM 16 EVEN THOUGH TDS WAS NOT DEDUCTED AND ALSO HOW CAN I GET THE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT FOR THE AMOUNT OF PF P.TAX DEDUCTED FROM MY SALARY BY PREVIOUS EMPLOYER.

07 August 2011 AS per act, if the TDS deducted then tds certificate can be issued, but as request of employee, employer can issue form16. request your employer to issue the same. or ask to give the salary certificate and payslips
