27 July 2010 Respected Sir /Madam ( Expert )

I have received Form 16 But No TDS is deducted as aggregate salary income is not exceeding the taxable limit ,My Question is whether the details regarding the tds deducted , pan of employer, date of payment etc are required to show in ITR as the amount of TDS is nil ?

27 July 2010 No need to show the employer details in the ITR TDS details,Since the tds not deducted

27 July 2010 but if the same is ITR-1 prefer to show the same as return is generally accepted on the basis of name of Employer.(i.e the alphabet from which the name of comapmy starts)

27 July 2010 Mr. Ramesh has rightly told that the detail is not required to be mentioned in schedule of tds deducted but employer detail is to be filled in schedule of salary income in column detail of income under the head salary
