10 July 2012 Hi everyone, can anyone pls tell me that is there any standard format prescribed for issuance of form 16, 16A or we can prepare as per our foramt by giving requisite details??

if standard format is noit prescribed than what are the details we need to give in 16,16a?

10 July 2012 The format for Form 16 & 16A is prescribed by the Income Tax Department and the forms have to be issued in those formats only.

Moreover, now it is mandatory to download Form 16A from NSDL website.

10 July 2012 form 16 & 16 A format is available. this can be slightly change like size and alignment only. But you must fulfil all the requirements. so u must issue in same format.
