Foreign salary Income

14 February 2008 I am working in gulf. My status is NRI.
My salary income is trf. to my father account in india.

It is taxable into my father Income or not.It is taxable in my income. How i show this income under the my income tax return.

14 February 2008 If you are a non-resident, then salary earned in Dubai in the financial year in which you are non-resident a is not taxable.

Remittance into India of salary income earned by you as above is not liable to be taxed.

14 February 2008 Being an NRI if you receive the salary out out india then it will not be taxable in your hand.

It will be taxable in that case only when , either u serve in india or you reveive the salary in india.

If you are serving outside india and receiving the salary outside india then you tr. this in your father's account then it will not be taxable in your hand as well as in your fathers hand.

so enjoy.
