my client want to pay Indonesian client a sum of $2496 for a exhibition held in jakarta, Indonesia.

my query is where a tds u/s. 195 is applicable or not. i want to give 15cb/15ca to him on urgent basis.

06 May 2014 can u tell me what rate deduction should be done & reason for that... in dtaa with usa, there is exempt..

06 May 2014 u need to check the dtaa from income tax website if its exempt then no need to deduct any tds.

06 May 2014 first check dtaa if the transaction is covered and exempted then u dont have to deduct tds else u/s 195.
