Whether board resolution is required before making new Fd by the co? Whether for short term or long term?

FD is also having separate bank with with concerned banker, which is being fixed for certain period and contains certain rate of interest. So, if for opening current account in bank, it is required board resolution, likewise to open FD account with Bank, it is required to have board resolution. your can make, but when bank a/c open then in resolution one person is authorised and also mention that he/she make proper management of the fund of company and company will abide with action of such person.
