Can we treat fixed deposit with bank as a current assets...... or we have to put it in non current assets.

if period is less than one year then so as current assets ( Balances with Banks)
Otherwise treated as Investment

but here fixed deposits with banks are the margin money which is given at the time of LC or BG.....
