Can we treat fixed deposit with bank as a current assets...... or we have to put it in non current assets.

if period is less than one year then so as current assets ( Balances with Banks)
Otherwise treated as Investment

but here fixed deposits with banks are the margin money which is given at the time of LC or BG.....

Need to be shown as Balance with Bank separately as Fixed deposits for margin money
