My Company has purchased Gas Cyclinder for cooking purpose? my query is whether this gas cylinder is to be capitalised or not? and if yes then in which head?

If u are using the gas cylinder for the purpose of business then u can capitalise the expenditure under the head of plant and machinery.

i suppose u've purchased the gas in (with) the cylinder & not the cylinder itself...
if it is so.. then no capitalization.
if it is so.. then no capitalization.
