Main Dividend Calculation Table
Particulars Amount (INR) Remarks
Net Profit After Tax (PAT) = As per Profit & Loss Statement
Retained Earnings (if any) = Optional – Previous year profits
Total Amount Available for Dividend = PAT + Retained Earnings
Proposed Dividend Rate (%) = e.g., 10%
Number of Equity Shares = e.g., 10,000
Dividend Per Share (INR) = Dividend Rate × FV FV = Face Value of Share (e.g., ₹10 or ₹100)
Total Dividend Payable = No. of Shares × Dividend Per Share
Dividend Distribution Tax (DDT) Not applicable Abolished post 2020
Total Outflow for Company = Total Dividend Payable
