dear experts please solve this. in trial balance advertising exp of Rs. 10000 and adjustment given as.advertisement is to be spread over 5 years so how to solve this

you have to written off this exp in 5 years, i.e. 2000 per year. so only 2000 will be debited to P&L in first year and rest 8000 will be deferred.
