Dear sir,
I want to know , is service tax or exemption applicable on film production in cinematography to such temporary transfer under copyright act and do I register in service Tax or not?
please help me for this

No service tax applicable on film production for exibition on theaters. Service tax applicable for exitbition in TV, so register in service tax.

Service tax applicable on fees received and has to be shown in service tax return.
When service is exempted no need to file the return unless registered with service tax.
