Whether service tax is applicable where asessee is proprietor concern and he is engaged in the business of producing films(movies).If yes, on what amount it is levied ?

Service tax is applicable on temporary transfer of copyrights of the movies to Television .
There is no service tax on production of films.
Neither there is a service tax on permanenet transfer of copyrights of film as the same is sale.

service tax no applicable on film production and permanent tfr. of copy right of film
but under Reverse charge mechanism will applicable.
