Whether it is mandatory to file trust's return for the assessment year 2013-14 in form ITR 7 electronically. If yes please provide the notification / circular if any

Online filing of ITR7 has not been mandatory.

Needless to say, the online filing is a much easier way of complying with return filing requirements.

I stand corrected. Please refer to NOTIFICATION NO. 42/2013 [F.NO.142/5/2013-TPL]/SO 1513(E), DATED 11-6-2013
I believe ITR7 shall be compulsorily filed online. I apologise for my earlier opinion.

From asst. yr. 2013-14,e-return is mandatory for trusts where trust has to get the accounts audited under the Income tax Act,1961.
