22 September 2016 sir,
I want file my Income tax return of FY 2012-13. I filed the all information in Java utility then i proceed to file belated return , one error is indicate "filing period is over".

Then i change made in Under the income tax return coloumn, i select the section 142(1), the date of notice will asked( i didn't grt any notice that financial year), then what i am doing for filing of income tax return of FY 2012-13? pls reply me urgent...

22 September 2016 Dear awarender, you cannot file return for Ay 2012-13. You need to talk to your AO for that

22 September 2016 but i have refund amount of FY 2014-15 & 15-16, this refund will i get or not ?(in case of not filing of fy 2012-13)..

22 September 2016 Dear Amarender, Each FY is seperate and does not have any relation with other so file for FY 2014-15, 15-16 U will get the refund

23 September 2016 Please refrain from filing the return u/s 142(1) until and unless you receive the notice under that section. You will be inviting the wrath of authorities , better not file the return until and unless asked as the due date for filing the return is already over. The last date for filing return for FY 12-13(AY 13-14) was 31.03.2015
